Cross-referencing the setlists for Fall 1979 shows in the archive with track/date list of the RT 1/1:

http://www.dead.net/road-trips/road-trips-volume-1-number-1

...I see that between the two discs and the bonus disc, they've included all of the 11/8 and 11/9 second-set jams while cutting out the drums in the middle. Is this a grand anti-percussion conspiracy???

And thinking more about the Road Trips concept, some pros:

1) More second-set stuff relative to first set
2) Discs packed with >75 min of material each
3) SBDs of complete shows are still in the archive and will presumably still be torrented and traded, as England 72 shows are even though they're selected from on Stepping Out.

Also, I wonder if there are any reel-flip gaps or degradation of sound quality in some tracks through the ravages of time, that would make the boys unwilling to release any of these shows in toto.

I wonder if they've sold even ten yet.

Ah yes, on the 12th day of Christmas, my true love gave to me 12 visual tributes to a for-profit website at an artificial, rarity-inflated price. I'll take maids a milking any day.

I like the Maids-a-milking, breakout the Corn Flakes.

What a stupid looking poster. It looks like Dead.net was doing some target practice with the Skull 'N Roses. Hmmm...
